with today's game.. my kicker who has 9 kicking, 16 intelligence, 14 strenght...., has missed 8 out of 8 kicks all from abou the 35 yard line. not from 35 yards out, cuz that would make the kick a 42 yards attempt, but the kick itself would have been 35 yards long.
does anybody know what migh be the reason for his constant failure? cuz with his skills, i think this shouldn't be that way..

Well your Kicker has a higher Kicking stat and higher Strength than mine but yours seems to miss a lot more FGs maybe its the Intelligence and/or Consistency just seems odd that mine does a decent job dont make them all but dont got on long missing streaks either

well his consistency is 18!! and his intelligence 16. i mean i don't expect him to score with every field goal attempt, but none out of 8? that seems a lil bit too much for a guy with skills that good

Positioning 4 Tackling 6 Punting 8
Vision 6 Blocking 1 Speed 13
Intelligence 10 Passing 1 Strength 10
Footwork 3 Catching 2 Agility 8
Carrying 2 Kicking 8 Stamina 5
Teamwork 6 Consistency 10

Here is my kickers #'s He has a 4 star rateing and a 3 star in talent and hardly ever misses a FG attempt. I have him set up to only try 35 yards and under. he is around 95% in FG's made counting league and friendlies.

Mark, compare my attributes with your and see if you can figure out what your kicker needs.

well i really don't wanna make your kicker sound bad.. especially since your team is sooooo much better than mine.. there's no doubt about that, but my kicker seems to be even better than yours. the only thing that yours is better in is vison. so maybe rivertommy is right, and that's what matters?
but you know what sal? i'm gonna set my match orders to only kick if distance< 35 yards as well( it was at <45 yards so far), cuz if it works for you, who's in the TD, i hope it does for me too.

Well remember that players may not play certain positions well at all. Maybe this guy that has good kicking skills is not supposed to be a kicker at all! Maybe his "natural" or best position is something else. Isn't there a penalty for playing guys in an incorrect position?

yeah there is.. but his BPOS is kicker.. and he has a 3 star rating... so i really don't know..
