carrying, agility, speed and secondarily vision strengh and footwork

We may not know exactly as the designers are leaving it up to us to figure out. There are resources to use to help guide us. The FAQ's have some info and there is a grease monkey script to use that highlights important skills for each position on the actual player page. It isn't exact, but I think it is a good estimate.

QB vision, intelligence, passing
HB agility, speed, carrying
FB agility, blocking, vision
TE blocking, catching, strength
WR agility, catching, speed
OT footwork, blocking, strength
OG footwork, blocking, strength
C footwork, blocking, strength
DT/NT tackling, agility, strength
DE speed, agility, tackling
OLB positioning, tackling, agility
MLB tackling, strength, vision
CB speed, agility, vision
FS speed, agility, vision
SS vision, speed, tackling
K kicking, strength, intelligence
P punting, strength, intelligence
KR carrying, speed, agility
G vision, speed, tackling

strength helps a lot
allows you to break more tackles and thats pretty much how you win in GI
breaking tackles on offense and not missing tackles of defense

There is a greasemonkey script in the sticky on the top of this forum that allows you to see these stats easily.
