I had $195,000 under my Economy tab, I went and selected 3 sponsors for my next game and now I have lost $50,000 to go down to $145,000. Why did I lose this money? Do they charge you for selecting sponsors or something? Is this a bug?

Picking sponsors for your games always brings in money so its important to do after every game so you don't miss one. I think you lost money because of the economy update which happens every week. Thats when you pay your players salaries and your staff and maintenance etc...Usually most teams are in the negative until gameday. Ticket revenue is what fuels your team.

normally this would have been the wednesday economic update, however on this occasion it was actually me who stole it. sorry.
i'd like to say i invested it for useful returns, but sadly i blew it all on hats.
