even just doubling all my coaches to level 4 is gonna cost me 325K

goddamn it's expensive for coaches lol

yep, coaches burn money...each week. That is why I said you need to calculate costs for training hall versus costs for coaches...

just realised that a training hall is way outwith my budget anyway. For some reason I thought the training hall only cost 350K to build not 950K

Think need to get my glasses checked!!

let's do some quick and dirty calculation

I did not found any information for maintenance costs on a full upgraded training hall, so my assumption is: 10k per week for the hall and 5k per week for each upgrade

based on 23 weeks:
coaching staff maxed to 5 * level 20: 3250000 total costs
traininghall with 4 upgrades: 3265000 total costs

based on 24 weeks:
coaching staff maxed to 5 * level 20: 3375000 total costs
traininghall with 4 upgrades: 3295000 total costs

So the result is: training hall is cheaper in long term, and a full upgraded training hall gives you the same 20 training point bonus like the maxed coaches.

If I remember correctly a fully upgraded training hall was $27k a week.

am i doing a business if i hire a new "20 attacking" coach but a coach who has only "1" at the others(defending, kicking etc)? Or its better if i hire one with "7" all the way?

Normally it is better to hire coaches to the max, but of course this depends on money and strategy

Personally I did not hire any coaches for kicking, because those would train only 1-2 players. I decided not to hire tactical coaches for some seasons, until there are other secondary skills, that are trainable.

Eg.: my QB trains agility/footwork instead of vision after finishing passing.

just from my experience, would recommend the fitness centre. pretty cheap to get up to full and gives great return on physicals.

save up cash to get 20 for fitness coaches, once signing bonus is paid you should still have some left over which you can get a reasonable amount of the fitness centre upgraded.

also this has the bonus of not hitting you heavily on wages as physical stats don't count towards the calculation.

in terms of making your coaching cost effective another hint is investing in defensive coaches. most of your def players will be training on tackling for a reasonable stint, but the bonus of Def. staff is also you can get a good amount of off. training via the blocking and agility training you can do through them.

economically you are better off spending money on building stadium then when returning about $500K+ per home game, save up about $1.5m or so and grab FULL (20* in every slot) coaches. as you are only deducted for the sign-on bonus can then use the money saved to build training hall etc.

dont forget the wages...could be a serious problem based on my own calculations...125k extra per week
