Let's say, your player has rating per postion

OL 1.5
DL 2.0
RB 1.5
K 2.5

This would result in:
Player's natural playing role is K
He can also play adequately as DL
If really needed, he can also step in as OL and RB

BPOS-Rating would be: 2.5, cause his natural position is Kicker and Kicker-Rating is 2.5

Lets assume you play him as DL for a while and he increases his DL-Rating.

OL 1.5
DL 3.0
RB 1.5
K 2.5

This would result in:
Player's natural playing role is DL
He can also play adequately as K
If really needed, he can also step in as OL and RB

BPOS-Rating would be: 3.0, cause his natural position is DL and DL-Rating is 3.0

That is how I understood that system...

I personally ignore all that, BPOS is X, adequitly play Y and if really needed can play Z, mumbo jumbo and instead look at the players attributes and play him at a position I feel is best.
As for your above mentioned player, QB seems the best with more tactical training along with agility training.

My best WR is still listed at RB, never had WR listed anywhere as a position he can play and after some time the WR position popped up and I'm looking for him to switch positions any time now.
You just need to put the player where you want him and leave him there if you want him to adapt to that position and change quicker.

I started of like this and I think it's okay against Bots but playing against another team with good players then positional rating at BPOS is very important (I think the Admins have said something like this).
That's my feeling as the game as gone. I now only play 1 player not at his BPOS.

I have honestly seen little difference between playing a player in his BPOS and not against humans. Maybe that's why my team has been inconsistent at times, but I just haven't seen a huge drop off in production from season 1(when I used players based on their BPOS) and season 2(when I changed them).

Not saying it doesn't happen, but personally I'll take my chances of putting players where they are better suited and maybe take a few losses while they're getting used to the new position. But really, there's no wrong way to do it.

I have personally seen a slight drop off in performance, but at the same time, it was nothing that wasn't worth it once the players had changed to their new BPOS.
