Okay, so a player has his BPOS and possibly positions he can adequately fill and lastly, possibly, positions he can fill if really needed ... no problem.

What if a player happens to have stats that would make him a real standout in a position that is not listed? For example say I had a player with high throwing, intell and vision stats but QB isn't listed or high speed, carrying and agility but no RB talent listed.

Can players develop into having those positions listed by my playing them there, just as it is with the BPOS? It would seem that it could. Anyone have any experience with this?

Evidence would also indicate it can happen. I recall having a player whose BPOS changed and he lost a possible position.

Yes you can. It will just take more time, since the player isn't very experienced at the position.

I've done it. It just takes longer.

If the players BPOS is still qutie low, it should not take that long.

It is when a players BPOS is quite high (3+ in my opinion) that it takes a sufficient amount of time.
