I have two offensive lineman with the stats below
that have played nearly a full season now in position.

I am mystified though, how player two can consistently be rated much better than player one when, on paper, one should be much better than two ?

- Player One - Player Two

Position - 1 - 7
Vision - 5 - 1
Intelligence - 20 - 19
Footwork - 6 - 3
Carrying - 2 - 7
Tackling - 2 - 3
Blocking - 7 - 6
Passing - 2 - 4
Catching - 4 - 2
Kicking - 1 - 2
Punting - 3 - 4
Speed - 11 - 13
Strength - 11 - 13
Agility - 7 - 2
Stamina - 6 - 1

Average rating on
match day stars - 1 to 1.5 - 2 to 2.5

I would love to hear what more experienced players make of this.

You left out some key ratings..Consistency, Team Chemistry, and of course BPOS Rating

Would be more relevant in the player evaluations/advice thread above, but nevermind

Talent, also.

Player One

Consistency 12
Chemistry 4.5
Teamwork 13
Bpos Rating Rated as 2 but as Gunner
Rated as a 'play adaq' for Off Line
Talent 1.5

Player Two

Consistency 19
Chemistry 4
Teamwork 10
Bpos Rating 2.5 Off Linesman
Talent 1.5

Apologies but I thought that I had posted this to player eval section !

Chemistry and teamwork are close, but player 2 has a HUGE advantage in consistency and most likely at least a full star(probably more) advantage in BPOS.

Be patient and keep playing player 1 at OL and his BPOS will continue to increase. At that time his game rating should raise.

Don't forget experience could also be different

Yeah, straight up, it's the BPOS rating that's hurting the first player. Keep playing him though, and he'll be just fine.

Edit: I just checked out your gunner, if it's the 28 year old, the problem is his energy. Which I didn't even consider when I looked at your OL. 79% energy is what's killing him..

Thanks Guys,
Didn't really consider the energy factor as thats how he was when I got him and have no idea of how low it needs to go before it starts to impact on play. Looks like I'll just have to be patient with the BPOS :-)

Roll on the training update promised that will allow us to rest an individual player. Is there no other way of getting that energy level back up again ?

Only other ways is to set your team training to low and wait, which hurts training, or just set it at normal and wait a long time for it to get back.

Hopefully that individual off week is coming soon.
