So, I have the following message season for the regional cup "automatically progress into the next round" is this a good thing or a bad one?

Do I get more money by advancing to the next round or did I miss out on making more money because I missed out on hosting a home game?

Possibly both. You're guaranteed of not losing in the first round, meaning you get the bonus money for winning that game for free.

However, you lose out on the income that you would have made from the game, whether you hosted or not. Chances are the money you would have made from playing the game is more than the difference between the rounds.

What buckeye said is true. But also to consider is that there are getting to be more and more good teams in GI, so the cup won't be a walkover to the final 128 or so like it was for the majority of teams last year. By not losing in the first round, you've added a potential for more money by continuing to host/prize money.

Someone's against me. In all three seasons, I didn't have a first round bye. Actually I may have the first season, but I can't remember.

you had a bye in the first season and been shafted the last 2 lol its just done at random i got it the first 2 season and didnt get a bye this season

Major mistake by one of the most misunderstood men in history. If not for his temper, I'd say he'd be known as one of the greatest all around people.
