I always thought that since they were on the receiving team that it would be more important for their main skill set to include blocking, but after getting one of the greasemonkey scripts yesterday it recommends that they are good at tackling, with no mention of blocking.

Could someone let me know whether they think that it is blocking or tackling thats more beneficial? Thanks!

We´ve had this question regarding CB on Special Teams weeks ago without any final clarification

-> what skills does a CB needs? I assumed blocking, because he works on returning

-> @guru: for newbies -> how do i know, if it helps to train both for CB on special Teams?

There's a CB and then there's a Special Teams CB.

When this addition was first implemented, I remember the Admins saying that blocking is important for CB's. That has sticked with me as I remember a backup CB having a nice blocking skill

I have 4 CB's in my squad as well. 2 for the purpose of special teams. These have been put on blocking practice

I have Six..

Two veterans, and two 4.5 talent young guys due to take over next season. I figured that their rating could do with a boost, so let them play Special Teams

The other two, no idea....

Damn, I thought I was the only one that had the idea about boosting a back up CB rating by playing them on Special Teams
