If you want to see some of the most talented teams in the world, one need look no further than NA Division III. It's loaded with players that will be in the TD 2 seasons from now, and even has a representative in the AFLC. Out of the strongest subdivisions, III.6 and III.7 will probably vie for the title.

Team (Previous) (Predicted) Predicted Finish

III.6 - Season 3 -

Miami Gamecocks (17-1) (13-5) 4th Place
The Gamecocks were able to hold onto the NA Div. IV.18 title last season against the very competitive Grizzlie Bears. They were also ousted in the second round of the cup last year which leaves some worries about their financial situation. They now look to make claim in Division III.6, that is a task much easier said than done for this squad. The fact that this team has yet to make any move on the transfer market in the history of their existence, leads me to question the pool of talent they've had to choose from. Several key cogs on defense as well as the star tight end have become as ancient as my grandmother's silverware, and won't be gaining any training points this season. It looks like team management has decided to add quite a few seats to the stadium, so we can only imagine the increased profit will be used to fund the purchase of some replacement players next offseason. This team enters this season with quite a few question marks, it'll be up to management to turn those into exclamation points, which won't be an easy task.

Rochester (16-2) (16-2) 2nd Place
They were preseason favorites last season, but failed to deliver anything more than second place and one of the largest stadiums in NA.
Their only losses were at the hands of the undefeated Tennessee Orange, unfortunately for them, it looks like they'll be second fiddle again to what appears to be a superior team in the Toledo Vengeance. They were beat 24-0 in the cup last season by the Oakland Destruction(the Oakland Destruction were then trumped by the Toledo Vengeance 14-42). Rochester made lots of expensive noise late in season 2, spending $916,092 in Transfer Market signings in April and May(to date). Will the money improve the level of play enough to conquer this division? The smart money says, not this season..

TheFreakinStuds (12-6) (13-5) 3rd Place
The league was put on notice when Stud became active again last season. Once he was back, he immediately went to work on the Transfer Market. With several key signings coming late in the season, the team didn't have time to find chemistry before being called upon to play at their top level. Stud plans on taking this season to work his players into their roles on the team. It will be a toss-up between TheFreakinStuds and the Miami Gamecocks for 3rd and 4th, I plan on them splitting the matches and TheFreakinStuds taking 3rd due to points differential. But in all likelihood, 3rd place will be decided week 3, if it's a close one, I give the advantage to the Studs, if not, 3rd belongs to the Gamecocks. This team isn't built to win the league this year, but they are very young, very talented, and are looking forward to challenging for it next season.

Toledo Vengeance (17-1) (18-0)
This team, far and away, has the talent to walk away with the Division Title this season. The question is simply by how much. Toledo is a representative for NA in the AFLC, so will be making a pretty penny this season, and should have enough money to do anything they please. Their offense is absolutely loaded with players and the manager looks to have his eyes set on Division II next season, hopefully looking forward won't cause this team to crumble. Their offense is solid, their defense is elite. I see no reason why they won't be in the battle for the Regional Cup again this year.

Thanks to jwaltde for starting his topic which gave me the inspiration for this one. Check out his thread on NA Div.II.2

Would of been the strongest division except the Freakin Stud team lowered it to Bot level.

Yeah, great write up (though I may be biased)

I do not think anyone will go through the season without a loss, and I think it may even come down to point-spread to determine the champ.

I'm just glad I get to play all the human teams fairly early.

I had 8 QB pressures and 1 sack that first game.

Even if it weren't for me playing against the Gamecock's bot defense, I still think I would have won.

Great start to the season for me

With the first week in the books, the rankings are as follows:

Toledo Vengeance 1-0 76-14 POW: Anton Vineyard-HB 249 yds, 5 TD
TheFreakinStuds 1-0 56-0 POW: Lance Bohl-HB 338 yds, 6 TD
Rochester 1-0 62-7 POW: Laverne Kilpatrick-HB 311 yds, 6 TD
Miami Gamecocks 0-1 14-76 POW: Michale Moffat-TE 3 rec, 168 yds, 2 TD

The Toledo Vengeance beat their first human opponent, but the job was all the easier due to the Miami Gamecocks having an illegal defensive lineup and so thereby switching to a bot defense. Injuries are bummers dude..

Next week is a showdown between the Toledo Vengeance and Rochester. By far, it's going to be one of the most decisive games of the season. Good luck to you both.

2 weeks down, and the Vengeance have established their dominance.

TheFreakinStuds 2-0 119-7 POW: Lance Bohl-HB 441 yds, 8 TD
Toledo Vengeance 2-0 96-14POW: Jan Cantelmo-QB 135 yds, 2 TD, 22 yds
Rochester 1-1 62-27 POW: Travis Trent-MLB 12 tackles, 1 sack, 4 TFL, 1 pressure
Miami Gamecocks 1-1 76-76 POW: Andres Harney-QB 355 yds, 6 TD, 42 yds, TD

Next week, TheFreakinStuds go to Blackbird Field to take on the Miami Gamecocks. These teams will probably be battling for third place at the end of the season, so this contest is going be something both teams really want.

2. 28.0/28.0/13.0 -- 22.0/23.0/13.0 - Rochester
3. 26.5/23.5/16.5 -- 21.0/18.5/16.5 - Miami Gamecocks
4. 23.0/20.0/12.0 -- 11.0/10.0/12.0 - Freakin Studs
5+ Bots

Wow, what a game TheFreakinStuds and the Miami Gamecocks played this last weekend. Pantera17's guys put up a fight, and it could have gone either way, and I feel it is very indicative of how well matched our teams are. I'm looking forward to quite a few good matches with you over the next couple of seasons. (Since, barring some extremely unforeseen events, we'll both be in this league next season.) Hopefully I didn't just get lucky with that goalline stand in the third quarter followed by the 97 yard TD bomb. But if I did, that's ok too.
