The skill just have been trained yet and by 4 stars is that his positional rating or his talent you are talking about?

so how does he become a 4 star running back when he can't carry the ball - i have no idea what is 'talent' is as ive only just seen him on the transfer list. To be honest none of his other 'stats' are all that hot. What makes him a 4 star?

he have played the running back position all his career, so that is where his position experience have been going. The better position rating, the better they play, but he might be fumbling a lot

Hello, Adrian Peterson of the Vikings? He would have like a carry rating of two on this game. He fumbles almost every game but he still is top three for that position in the NFL. Low carrying just gives someone greater chance to fumble it.

The stars represent his potential. But you have to train him and use him right to maximize his talent/potential. John Elway had five star talent in junior high but wasn't a five star player till his late twenties.
