NOTE: Before anyone cries that this should be in the Friendly Ads, read the content! It's not a one off like Friendly Ads, I see this thread needing to be here for a week or 2, and 500 characters is too short to make this request (trust me, I tried!)
I would much rather have posted it out of the way as an Ad rather than slam it in everyone's faces but it just wouldn't work, and I've posted it here in the Rookies section as that's who I'm aiming it at

The Punishers are looking for a team to play friendlies against, for ALL of season 3!

In Season 2 the Punishers were contacted by a very friendly manager who PM'd to ask how we were being succesful, the owner of the Dolni Chabry Patriots. After some friendly chat I offered to arrange to play against him in a friendly EVERY week for the rest of the season.
The reasons for me were:
a) I didn't have to go and find a new friendly partner each week - something I find quite tiresome
b) I only use friendlies to get player experience and money, I don't care about the outcomes or any kind of challenge and I'd rather not play my "peers" if they have smaller stadiums as all I'm doing is giving them money to make them better! Not good business sense

The reasons for Dolni were:
a) He didn't have to go and find a new friendly partner each week
b) MONEY! (Compare his stadium of 11,500+ seats to others in the division to see how much he's made)

The Punisher's stadium is currently 18,500 seats and at the start of next season is projected to be over 29,000. A friendly game gets between 11,000 and 15,000 attendees approximately anyway. You should get over $140,000 for every friendly we play, most weeks over $180,000.
For a team used to playing in 2000'ish seat stadiums regularly that can be a financial difference of over $2,000,000 for the whole 18 week season! That can give your team a HUGE boost as you can see.

So here's the deal.. I will accept applications from anyone with a small stadium who is NOT in Atlantic Europe (sorry, but you might play me in the cup and that creates a conflict of interest). Preferably you'll be a new'er manager and just starting out and would like a huge boost to your economy. We will be planning to start the friendlies from the first week of Season 3.
So send me a PM and tell me why it should be you. Nice, friendly people who can give me an idea of how they plan to improve themselves with this cash injection have a much better chance than anyone acting like Donkey from Shrek (Pick me! Pick me!)
Feel free to mention any NFL interests etc, unless you're a Cowboy's fan - then maybe best to keep quiet about it

If anyone is concerned about the ethics of this, I did raise a concern with the Admins back last year that this situation could arise where someone who'd been here a while had a friend start playing and "bank rolled" them by doing this to give them a big advantage in their low league.
The Admin response, and in fact that of other players in the thread, was yes it could happen and.. so what?! They had no problem with it at all.
Obviously if they decide now that it's not in keeping with the game then I will stop doing it, but currently it's been given the Admin's/players blessing so please restrain yourselves from any "Wah, that's cheating!" responses.

I'll post here to request people stop PM'ing once I've got some replies to consider or when I've made a decision, although I doubt that will stop people
