How does it work? Is there one week break when only frindlies are played? When do we get season/cup winnings?

If I remember correctly from last offseason(that was around Christmas, so I may be a little fuzzy on some things), the time between your last Season 2 league game to your first Season 3 league game is 14 days. Season 2 ends May 2, meaning your first Season 3 game will be May 16.

In this time, IIRC, you will still train, you can upgrade your stadium, and you can buy/upgrade the add-ons. You can also play friendlies.

As for money, I believe it is given with the economy update right after your last game.

So here is teh answer:
Last game of the Season 02.05.09
Last Friendly 04.05.09
Cash Wednesday 06.05.09
next Friendly 11.05.09
1st Game Season 3 16.05.09

Thank you for your answers, just one more... when does actual promotion happen (you get in new league) and new match cycle is decided?

Do we just get our prize money from are league position finish or do we get money like when we fist started,i.e $250,000.
Currently i'm second in Div V.52 so what sort of prize money am i looking at.

Yep, FAQ under "End of season prize money." Don't forget to add in the money from regional cup. Even if your team was out when you took them over, you should still get money for how far the team you took over went.

Hm, that should be a topic for redesigning the game. Why an owner receives money for things he was not responsible for? Is this a guess by you?
