Is Carry the only thing that would stop fumbles i would hope so and its not some off the wall thing like passing to help him carry better

Is your safety playing at running back? Or does he just get so many interceptions that he has that many fumbles??

Jinto, some physicals may come into play also....
My RB has only 6 Carrying, but ridiculous physicals and he has only fumbled once...
Merc's RB has higher carrying, but less physicals and has fubmled twice...

I'm going to bet that consistency and possibly positional rating comes into play as well.
If someone has 12 carrying but 2 consistency and isn't a natural RB(or just started playing there), he's going to fumble more than the guy with 9 carrying and 15 consistency who's been playing the position all his life.

I wonder if the tacklers skill level matters too?

I'd say they probably do. Better tacklers, at least in real life, have a better chance of creating fumbles.
But this is something that you can't do anything about as far as who will hold onto the ball best for you.
