QB under pressure and sacked

I think there was a topic about this, but I could'nt find it.

How come my QB makes so many passes under pressure and gets sacked so many times more than the opposition QB even if I play against bot-teams. This season I have not gotten a single sack and my QB has been sacked twice just playing against bots. My OL and DL getter better ratings, but they still can't sack or keep the opposition off my QB

I usually play 4-3 and sometimes 3-4. On offense I have 5 players in the line, TE usually on the same side as 2 WR's and 2 HB's.

from a glance I'd blame energy management.

I know a lot of players are complaining about this and many of them are going up against bots. I think one of the issues may also be that we've moved players with good skills (or so we think) into OL or QB positions, but they don't have developed secondary skills (footwork, agility, position, vision perhaps) and low positional ratings. Just my opinion though.

I have experience the same probably and my energy is 100% on my O-linemen.

I agree with you 100%, Steve. This is what a couple of us have been trying to figure out now as a collective group. We all realise it's more than just blocking and strength that makes a good o-lineman in the passing game. Just a matter of finding out the right combonation of attributes.

I also have to agree. I've noticed that most of my pressures come from OL's with low footwork. Add in the low positional rating, and I'm really struggling.

I've hit the market and found a few good blockers with 6 or 7 footwork, so we'll see if my problem improves in the coming games.

So a bot team with randomly chosen players at each position, has better skills than my players? I don't think so.

For instance here are the stats from my last match:

Rio Maior Fur-balls (Bot) vs. North Stars (Me): 0 - 20

Rio Maior Fur-balls:

Completed: 2
Incomplete: 14
Incomplete (Under pressure): 0
Sacked: 0

North Stars:

Completed: 2
Incomplete: 8
Incomplete (Under pressure): 15
Sacked: 1

So my defence where every single player gets better or at least equal ratings as the opposition can't put pressure on the QB. NOT ONE SINGLE TIME. This just does'nt make sense to me
