So to sum up...

The game currently has faults in several processes due to a server move.

The owner can/will not fix it.

Numbers for active players are not correct.
Scripts for handling Cup games does not work.
Old bugs are still here.
Any info on game mechanics can be found in 15 year old threads.
New implementations (like BMI) might work.
And what about 'Aggression'? When was this gonna be implemented?

MY view of the game as an asset, a possible buy out and any ability to run this game in any forseable future with a profit while developing it has not changed.

And Admin - please stop the passive aggressive attitude. You don't know me. I don't know you, yet you assume that I should not know things that I have done for 20 years.

Fix the obvious faults in the game. If not, then let the community know that nothing will be fixed or done so we can stop believing in hope.

There are no gamebreaking bugs at this time that would prevent the game going on.
Owner will fix the obvious flaws as soon as he feels a bit better (he is seriously ill at the moment - I stated that a few times now).

Nice "detour" on conversation though.

This thing here started as an answer to 2 people that hinted that we were trying to scam buy-out initiative with active users numbers. And yes, that triggered me (and always will!)
Then, you answered and entered conversation (I never asked you to and I never targeted you personally!).
So I answered to you as well.
I have nothing against you personally (I wrote that already above).

I only stated facts - that the buy out initiative was never serious (or at least didn't act like it).
How much of that is your fault (if any) I don't know (how can I).

But anyway, you are trying to derail the convo.

So let's finish the conversation here and now. No point in going on.
Facts are written above for all to see.

If you are implying that I lied, then, no problem, and go ahead, ask anyone from buy-out initiative, and I mean anyone, to counter my statements above.

Ask them to tell you if they send ANY bid, ANY counter (or even negotiation, heck even a "this is too much" statement) for a price. Literally ANYTHING but asking for info about the game (at the beginning of the process).

I'm waiting.
And I have a feeling I will be waiting for awhile.

But, if you actually meant that you believe what I wrote (I doubt it) then (of course) I apologise in advance.

Personally, I believe that if someone has an authoritarian role, one's rants should be moderated by one self.

Dear Admin,

I believe that your points are valid and that any discussion can be had in these forums, but I also believe that your statements, modus and quite condescending tone should be kept in PMs or just washed off.

We disagree and I have deep and critical thoughts about the future of this game. So do others and those thoughts an opinions should either be valid and discussed or you should shut them down.

Dear SrednaD,

I will not allow for anyone to accuse us of either sabotaging the buy-out or, even one step further, trying to scam the buy-out initiative. This is where I (and other admins plus the owner) are drawing the line.
And that was the whole purpose of my "rant".

The players of the game cannot just make an accusation here - and not expect us to react.

This whole "rant" was not about what you think about the future of the game. It's your right to think that this game will be dead or whatever in couple of months.

The point was to show that numerous accusations about buy-out that went our way (over forums and especially over PMs) are not correct nor deserved. And the trigger was a "subtle" scam accusation.

And I'm still waiting for even one buy-out initiative member to step in and state that what I wrote about it is a lie.
That's it.
Any other stuff is debatable and I don't have a problem with opinions. I (we) however do have a (big) problem with false accusations.
I hope you can understand that.

No one has ever accused you of that. I only wanted to state that if any calculations where made on wrong data, it could affect the possibility to do correct projections for income. I can see that the dates are in order and I do trust the numbers. Also because a third-party posted numbers in the forum.

Again - NO accusations where made. Just statements about the quality of the data when scripts and normal day-to-day operations are not working due to the server move.

Perhaps a PM would be better. As many things in this forum, issues should be followed up by a PM. I know that when I - as a moderator - have had to edit other players posts, ban them or otherwise do 'Moderator-stuff', a PM is a nice way to communicate privately.

Again - I do believe that no accusations where made and if any statements have touched your nerves or have read as accusations from me, I apologize.

And as a good friend once said to me when I needed to relax - Get laid, Srednad

Can you, please, for the love of all that is sacred to anyone, stop playing victim here?
I never wrote YOU are the one accusing us of anything.

Accusations were made on forums and over PMs - quite a few users even threatened to stop paying supporter because "owner didn't want to sell".
And that's the point. Sell to whom? Invisible buy-out initiative that is nowhere to be found, and cannot even comment on a price that was given to them?

I could say the same to you (you don't stop posting here either, do you now?)
But I won't. Because I won't go down as low as you and start with insults about your sex life.

And then you will say I'm disrespectful, passive aggresive, etc...
Nice one mate, nice one. Showing true colors here.

But I will grant your wish.
I'm out of this convo. What needed to be said (written) - was said anyway.
The fact the buy-out initiative members never challenged my statements, is proof enough for anyone with 2 brain cells, that what I wrote was the truth and nothing was made up.

I will leave convo open. So you can have the final word.
Go for it mate.
