Of course It's your right to disagree, but given that there was no counter-offer, no complaints - basically nothing from the "initiative" other than "give us this info and that info and soure code" (and even this was at the beginning of all this ordeal), then, how can the owner know what is the price the "buying party" has in mind?

And to reverse your statement.
This attempt looked more like "You are selling me the car on my terms or I'll tell everyone that you are an asshole and bad owner", than the "selling Dacia for price of BMW".

And just to make something clear - the price (initial before the costs of updating the code for new server - but owner did let initiative know that if he was the one that will pay for the update, the price will be added to game's value) was reasonable enough given the past financials - and maybe negotiable as well.

But, I repeat, there was nobody to negotiate with.

And to answer your maintenance questions - I stated numerous times that owner has some serious health issues that worsened for the last couple of months after he again contracted Covid.
That makes it difficult sometimes to communicate and update stuff.
All you mentioned will be done ASAP.

I'll take this one The Owner was NOT the problem, actually The Owner was pretty awesome throughout the process. The problem was that in the Buy-Out project team we didn't manage to get all the things in place that are needed to reliably run a game like this, despite all the good intentions of the people involved. That was the stumbling block. We didn't get to the raising-the-money phase, let alone the negotiate-the-price phase.

Yes - huge shout out to Sympathia, who spearheaded the process and kept the dialogue with the owners and admin. And thanks to those for replying to the groups questions and ensuring us that the information given was valid and trustworthy.

Maybe next time when the market and finances are there, it would be nice to see the game continued as buyers and current owners want.
