After qualifying in the World Cup we have been drawn in Group B alongside Germany (#3), Argentina (#10) and Slovakia (#13).
The team played excelent in the first 2 games defeating Germany (42-28), followed by another great win against Argentina (42-24), but fell short in the last game against Slovakia losing (21-17).
We finished the group stage on the 1st place and look forward to the KO round.

In the quarter-finals game we were drawn against France(#12) and the team played great even had 2 times a 14 point lead. Unfortunelly our QB (Toby) showed his age and threw and INT in the end of the 4th quarter and France tied the game up in the last seconds and managed to win in OT.
So this WC has come to an end for the Australian NT and the future is still looking bright as long as the curent players will not "retire".
