While I have just started a new team, I did have a team for several years prior, and I noticed that a fumble is almost always, always in my experience, recovered by the offense. Nor have I seen any interceptions. Are turn overs recovered by the defense part of the model, or have I just been lucky when I am on offense and unlucky when I am on defense?

Thank you for any comments.

Interceptions happen but are rare - you'll likely only see a few per season.
I've never seen a fumble go the way of the opposition.

Never seem a fumble or sack go against the attack in the 9 years playing. Interception all depend on teams throwing the ball, if you run the ball, which most teams do you will never give away an interception.

I play a mixed attack and in 31 games this season there have been 17 interception in my games, my team making 10 of those. And there has been multiple games with more than 1 interception a game, the highest was 3 in a friendly. But it all depends on if a team throws the ball!

season 36 Regional Cup match
Near the end of the 2nd quarter, my team punted to the opponent, he fumbled and my team recovered.
This is the only instance of a fumble being recovered by the opposing team that I have seen or heard about.
I actually would never have realized it if my opponent hadn't posted about it after the game in this thread.

Even after reading about it, it took me several minutes to locate it in the match text. So, it is possible it's happened a few times before and just gets overlooked.
