You are wrong.
We don't plan to shut this game down - and the server is a rolling monthly contract (no need to renew the plan)
And owner does not want to exit. The initiative for a buy-out came from the community. There was never a "bate" to "bite".
And get this - if the buy-out doesn't happen, we already have a plan to get a new and better server (as this one is getting pretty old now). Now, how about that eh?

Also, I personally sent all the info to Simpathia. So, let us assume he and the community are smart enough to make decisions for themselves.

So, in short.
Your post doesn't help anybody. You just came here to vent your frustrations. So please, don't do that - at least not in this topic.

Stop using this (serious) topic to vent your frustrations and/or meaningless nonsensical posts.
I know that doesn't mean much to most of you here, but bans will be dished for such behaviour in this topic.

This topic is about the community initiative to take over the game. Keep it this way, please.

I deleted the "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH" post above - as I believe that it really doesn't contribute anything to the debate.

Admin have put more effort into moderating this thread than they have in addressing the myriad faults in the game.

I've been here since 2009 and I'm quite happy with the admins response to the players initiative and I look forward to the review from simpathia and the board he has put together. As I already stated, I will support the game either way and have purposely, over the years, renewed annually as that is the best way to support a game such as this for the long term. Look forward to the updates

Dear Grid-Iron Community

Here an update from the Community Buy-Out project team, who are working hard for you and with you to improve our gaming experience!

Step one was of course to assemble the project team. At this moment we are with 5 active members: Klomgo, mdjseymour, Moran20, Srednad and me, simpathia. We've set up a discord channel where we share information and ideas.

We gone through the information that Admin has shared with us and are building up a better picture of what exactly we need to organise to make the Community Buy-Out a success.
The main three things we need are:
-1- money for the buy-out
-2- people who are willing to take care of the operational side of running this game (Admins)
-3- programmers who are willing and able to do bugfixing and feature development

So please admins and programmers of the Grid-Iron Community come forth! We need you!
