I'm not sure, but if I had to guess I would say that it means that a player gets anywhere from 8 to 12 points a week no matter what.

Yeah I found it, I'm just not completely sure what it means.

Any help would be appreciated. Like I said, if I had to guess it would be that the points that players get before the coaches, teamwork, etc get factored in is between 8 and 12.

Reasoning behind this is that 10+2=12 and 10-2=8. But this is a complete guess.

Exact that what I read before, I guess you are right!

Edit: my quoting was wrong: This a random prefactor between 8 and 12, based on that the other values come into the formula, the result is the progress for training

Correct guess. Random factor is present in almost every process.

The teamwork affects the training too, but the way I see it, the effect is quite large.

If the players teamwork is 20 does it mean that he get's 10 extra points every week?

What I've always been confused about is if the teamwork value is odd. If you're teamwork is 19, do you get 9 or 10 extra points or is it 9.5 multiplied by 65%/75% or whatever to get the specific contribution to a skill.

If it gets rounded either up or down, then teamwork 19 might as well just be 18 or 20 depending on which way they round.

my guess is that 19 = 9.5points added to training, and they probably use floating points so that you only go up a point when 100 total points is reached you raise a level. so having 19 teamwork would effectively be .5 points better than 18 and .5 points less than 20
