I was living in the Bay Area when Al Davis was whoring the Raiders to Oakland and I seem to remember the city of Oakland paying a lot of cash for the privilege of having the team back. Wasn't this raised via taxes? I seem to remember a lot of protests about it.

The Raiders attempted to raise cash via their PSL scheme but it wasn't a big success.

As much as I'd love to go to a Raiders game I don't envisage travelling to LV to watch a dome game. I'd sooner take in an East Coast game.
