What trumps the other? I have a guy that is a potential 4.5* but does not have a attribute in the teens. I have read in the form that the players size has really nothing to do with they game itself. It's just weird that we have a guy that is suppose to be my best D-Lineman and he is 5'5" and weights 165lbs. Please help?

Don't worry about the height and weight. You can always fatten your players up in the nutrition centre if you want, but the height/weight has no effect on their performance as players.

I'm surprised you have been around here 2 years and are just now asking some of these things. At least you are asking. First off I assume by potential of 4.5 stars you are referring to 4.5 star talent. If so, the talent attribute only tells you what sort of maximum BPOS a player can get in game ratings as well as where his soft cap will be for none physical skills. If he doesn't have an attribute in the teens then you just haven't trained him long enough in those areas to boost them up. They will only reach their maximums through training those skills.

On to the height and weight. If you have a guy playing at DL that is 5'5" and 165 LB and he has a really high strength (say 20), you probably have a ? next to the strength and if you hover over it you will see that his playing strength is lower. You will see a similar effect on speed with a fat guy. The good news is it's been said on these boards that this feature was never turned on and was to be part of the next upgrade that never happened. That is why people will tell you it is meaningless.

I hope that helps.

Engine (BMI) - General implementation. All managers will need to pay close attention to this stat from season 25.

you can always use your Nutrition center to bulk up or guys but height...
that said
I m not sure I know how much it will affect the actual ME mechanics( for example I thought one of the proposed changes was height affecting "vision"

height and weight doesn't matter. When it first came out many of us jumped on and optimized our guys. But the actual effects have never been implemented in the code, so don't bother unless you're bored or a perfectionist.
