I cant figure out how to make my players change positions. Also, how do I set up a challenge? (I know there is a challenge forum post, but what if I want to just go randomly challenge someone...how do I do that?)

well making players change natural position takes time. A lot of time in some instances. the more games you play the more they gain a given positional rating.

As far as challenging, most people have a friendly arranged by this time of the week but if you check the friendly thread and click on the last name there you might be able to challenge them by clicking the challenge button on their team page. I'd recommend adding your team to the list if that team is already full up on challenges.

Go to Matches and look at the list of upcoming matches. On the right side of each match is an insignificant-looking circle inside a square. Click on that to set positions for that game.

Note that there are three tabs, one each for offence, defence and special teams/game parameters. Once you are happy with your player/position for that game you can set it has your "default" selection and then select submit and there should be a message that shows your game settings are successful.

If you check back to the upcoming matches you should now see that the small circle in the box has become green to indicate that the game has had a selection submitted. You can still make changes if you so wish

To save time it is easier to select a future game and load the "default settings" and make any changes if you see fit.

Have fun

ofc look out for injuries in your default team. If one player is injured all the other players will play at random
