Whew! Close one and great game to Jedi. My young guys are getting a little better as the season moves on and a much needed added payday now in the Cup

It's a bit tough in setting the game orders to kick that late field goal because your game orders are one setting for the entire game. I usually have game orders set where if it's 4th and 2 and I'm on my opponents end of the field I'm going for the TD. You can't win many games in GI kicking field goals.

The games aren't getting easier. Next round, I get to play an old division foe in Atlantis Cowboys. It should be fun but I would rather have a good old bot stomp when another round of cup money is at stake.

Number of 4th and short situations in my games over the last three years: 3 (2 offensive/1 defensive)
Number of FG situations in my games over the last three years: 21

Potential points on fourth and short - 14
Potential points off of FG - 63
Actual points on fourth and short - 0
Actual points off of FG - 45

Defensive fourth and short situation did result in a TD against me in a reasonably important situation (Alkoholics sealed up first place last season on that play) so I see the sexiness of the play given how people set defenses, but I'll go for the points in most situations.

Currently my QB is throwing up a dismal 31.9% completion percentage

I have to hand it to the Black Stars, they were definitely ready, well played. My QB finished at 34% completion rate.........easily the worst of his young career. Have to figure out what the heck I'm doing, this rebuild has been the toughest in my GI history with just ridiculous inconsistency. Perhaps they have already tweaked the game engine a bit

Looks like the Black Stars botted their defense today. Based on the 1st quarter it's gonna be a real shootout.

Wow, my Vikes just barely squeaked by the War Eagles. It's not often you throw three 2nd half INTs plus another one in OT and still win!
