Javier Moniz still has a bit in the tank, I'm gonna miss that great WR when he's gone and I'm quite certain UK will remember him now

Orders set against New Zealand. Given that we need a miracle to qualify from here, and I expect it to be our last game this cycle, I've given young John James George a first start as QB.

Worth a shot, hope it works.

Well I can't complain so far. If we get a good score it will give us a hope of evening up the points difference.

Well, with the scores in from Portugal we still need Argentina to lose against Colombia next Tuesdayish. I don't think that outcome is likely but we've played our part, and will wait and see.

I think our main problem this year has been the lack of a top quality Tight End. We do have some very very good ones coming through though.

Colombia are 35-21 up against Argentina with 20 minutes to play. The UKNT might have a reprieve yet, although this may go down as one of our flukiest escapes to date.

Looks like it's all done and dusted now.

Unbelievable luck. We've played like amateurs all season, and somehow sneaked in thanks to a miraculous win from Colombia.

The question now is, what will the UK do with this reprieve?

Well, in WC8 the UK were 14 points down against Romania in a crucial group game, and came back to win in overtime. In WC9 we were 6 points down to Australia with 90 seconds left, them in possession, and we somehow pulled a win out of the bag. Both times we went on to win the whole thing.

Maybe we just like living on the edge.
