Botdom always looks as if they can explode any minute, but this team is capable of beating ANY team in ASE (including top division). I thought the tie breaker at the top is TD's scored? Did it recently change to any other metric?

First versus second today. Will it be cries and whispers for Gobabeb, or smiles of a summer night?

Personally in rooting for Ogilthorpe for two reasons.
1. I'm used to having Leocorchestris around. It will be weird without him.
2. You've got to love Finland for this:

Don't you underestimate Swedish Metal, forests are as dark and full of scary creatures as in Finland. Why did Oglithorpe run against me? I am happy with it, I just do not understand the strategy.

Tough games this week for both Flanders and Venice. If they both stumble then Ottershaw and Botdom join the top three in being safe from relegation. If they both win then Strike Team's fate is confirmed even if they manage to upset Ogilthorpe.

Prediction:
Wins for Gobabeb, Plymouth, Ogilthorpe, Botdom and the Rockers. (No flies on me, eh? ).

And so we've reached the business end of the season. First versus second as Plymouth bid to keep the season alive another week by delaying Gobabeb's promotion party.

Third place Ogilthorpe need to beat Ottershaw to stay in the fight. Meanwhile it's quite possible that Botdom, still in the promotion picture, could be in second spot by Saturday night.

Meanwhile at the bottom, victory for Jailhouse over Venice should ensure survival for the Rockers. Clash City will be hopeful of drawing level with one of the teams above them as they face the already doomed Strike Team.

Predictions:
Ogilthorpe
Rockers
Rockers
Gobabeb

I can't believe the Pilgrims rolled over like that and let Gobabeb escape. Tsk. They'd have kicked my ass if I'd been desperate for a win

Congratulations to Gobabeb. Somehow they always seem to be playing within themselves. No crazy wage bill. No rapid turnover of players. I hope and expect you will do rather well in the TD.

Congrats to Hyenas, hadn't realised he'd officially been promoted today!

I was never goung to beat him as I gave up before the season started. Got fed up with the last couple of seasons of paying high wages and finishing 2nd! My only aim this season was to avoid relegation while my youngster improve.

Thanks Phiba and Squarebear. I wouldn't say my wage bill wasn't crazy as I had one of the highest overall wages in ASE. I am looking forward to my experience in top division and hope to see you there soon.
