I marginally survived being darkwinged today. Flanders really put on a strong game, being totally outnumbered in BPOS stars by my team. I start to think that tactics (darkwing) are more important than BPOS in general (not just occasionally). What is your take on this?

That thread in General about running a team with fewer players - I've decided to embrace it so am selling a few players for pennies simply to slash the wage bill. One of them I paid a million for as a prospect but I've had him years and years and he still isn't even close to a starter role. Stupid game, this. One day I am going to have a moment and jack it in.

That's another ridiculous thing. How the teams you lock horns with in IV and develop rivalries with are the very same ones you're going to shuffle towards the TD with. Then you take a look at another division in whatever league you're in and realise there are a load of teams with wage bills a fraction of your division's all slugging it out but oblivious** to the massive step up that'll be required when you and they eventually converge.

But hey, it's Friday. I've fired my youth pull and all is well.

** Not strictly true of course.
