Any GI members playing this?

I know nothing about it but my teenage boy is obsessed with going out and playing this. I see a lot of people walking by my house with their eyes fixed on their phones. There is a stop at the corner of my block and a gym at the post office.

Am I missing out?

I did wonder how long it would take before this made an appearance

I avoided pokémon for 20 years, swore I'd never play it

But now I'm an avid player

I'll ask my son most of these dumb questions tonight but how do you boast about how well you are doing? Do you advance levels? It seems I more hear about how he has a level XX of each of the critters he has captured?

The way I look at it is via levels (I am 22) and how full your pokedex is (how many different ones you have caught)

Currently at level 16. I do alot of walking, so it's a nice incentive to be able to hatch eggs and reach pokestops while on the go.

The one thing I would like to see changed is to be able to get candy's from gym battles. Once you get an uncommon pokemon, it can be very hard to get candies and level them up or evolve them.Last edited on 2016-08-23 at 18:42

I find the only way is to get lucky with egg hatching for those rare candies
