3-way ties for 1st in both II.1 and II.3---yikes!

How is my team 7-0 on the road and 3-4 at home? Not understanding that one.....

Long standing bug... the home field disadvantage.

Admins have said on occasion that they'd fixed the bug, but looking at results season after season, it sure doesn't look like it's been fixed.

My QB was 7/29 combined in the 1st, 2nd and 4th quarters. 10-14 in the 3rd. The game ratings (which I know are not a perfect guide) indicate that shouldn't happen with a 5* QB throwing to a 5* TE and a 5* WR.

Clearly whatever they say they fixed they didn't.

They fixed something and made it better for sure. It used to be very evident in the TD. I think there's still something in the code somewhere though that's giving at least part of the home field advantage to the wrong team.

Looks like the winner of Div. II.2 will hinge on tomorrow's game.

If my squad wins, I'll have a two-game lead on Mississauga with 4 to go (including a bot game). I'd need to lose two out of three human games simply to tie on wins and losses, with the crucial advantage of a bot game in the PD race (Mississauga having already played Atlas). Or I'd have to collapse and lose all my human games, while Mississauga goes 4-0 to close out the season against stronger opposition (to date, they've only played the bottom 4 teams in the division twice).

If Mississauga comes away with the win, we'll be tied on wins and losses, and headed for a photo finish to close out the season.

Grease Monkeys and Omaha aren't technically out of contention yet, but each would need a lot of things to go right in order to have a shot at a title. Both could play a role as spoilers, though - each club will face both Mississauga and my squad.

I am thinking that after our first game which was a close one, you will take this game, and the division.

Looks like your prediction is at least half right. I'm hoping it turns out to be spot on, but who knows.

Assuming I win my game against Atlas (now bot), that'll happen as long as I can win one of my three human games.

By contrast with that (mostly) comfortable home stretch, a dogfight for second seems to be in the works.

Side note: Div. II.1 is in the middle of one heck of a title race. This week's results scrambled the standings, and now three squads have identical league-best 10-4 records. Any of four teams could be in first place after week 15 - definitely a division to watch.

Yeah it looks like I'm still in it at 9-5, but I play all the top teams and they all beat me earlier this season.

After 3 years of maddeningly inconsistent play, it looks like we've lost the Haitian Giants to botdom in II.2.

A shame, really, as they've shown real potential at times; last season, they finished 4th in Reaus' ranking of Div. III teams with one of the best offenses at that level.

Coming at this late stage, this unfortunate botdom has the potential to impact the final standings in II.2. The Giants have played Mississauga twice already, while Grease Monkeys and my own team both face the newly-bot squad in the next month.

This makes a likely title for my team all but certain, as I've got a two-game lead that won't be harmed by a pair of bot games, and a sizable PD edge over Mississauga. So there's a silver lining for my squad.

For the Grease Monkeys, there's good news and bad news. The bad news is that their path to a title - which depended on my losing 3 out of 4 games - is now gone. The good news is that they'll have an extra bot game down the stretch, giving them an edge over Mississauga and Omaha as those teams jockey for 2nd and 3rd place.

My concern is rising for Machoman.com who did a big sell off a couple weeks ago and hasn't been on for 10 days. Hopefully he is rebuilding and will be back on soon.
