Perhaps you don't understand the WC system. There are teams from eligible countries and they have managers to represent them each season. Some teams have a coordinated effort of player recruitment going on all season long, every season. Other teams do their own variation of recruitment at the beginning of each WC cycle. In doing either of these methods, sometimes managers think it's prudent to note players that have potential and add them to a list of "players to watch", if you will. The "players to watch", list allow you to check in on things like "even training of skills" or "acceptable fitness" for the position they are playing or even additional positions they may be suited for. Now this may come as a surprise to a manager that simply reviews transfer lists to find positional players, but most countries have some varying degree of organizational efforts to meet the purpose I've expanded on above. The player you are referencing is not NT ready right now, that is obvious from his salary. However, he meets the talent criteria, he plays for a competent manager and I would like to review his current skills and fitness to see if he belongs on the "players to watch" list. This effort will hopefully help the next manager or the one after that. Thank you for attending, class dismissed

Yeah, he's on my list but there's better options right now.

I saw Czech guys varying from $70k up to $100k+ who weren't on the NT; the 'best of the rest' Portuguese are scrubbing around around $30k.

if you didnt see all their skills you dont know if they are even close to nt worthy, and coming fresh off a finals appearance im a bit surprised your insulting my scouting ability. ill take a more rounded out lower skill guy than a dude with no physicals and 20 in all defending skills.

Flames, you really need to take this conversation to another thread. This one is for Team USA. Also, please refrain from calling other managers "idiots", that could be viewed as "insulting" comments and against the rules.

Now, on with Team USA news. We are still in need of scouts for the following players:

Swapped out one more on the DL, changing out a 4.5* bpos player for another 5*. DL looks pretty good

Reviewed LB's and that was very challenging. Team USA is very deep in LB's, but 4 of them had 20 stamina. I replaced two 4.5* bpos players with 20 stamina with two 5* bpos players with less than 20 stamina. Seems there are lots of prospects that are coming along as well. Not sure if Team USA needs to carry 7 LB's, but at least one also plays on the DL, so we'll see over the weekend if we need to cut one more.........still have 2 20 stamina players in the bunch, but they are very nice

Reviewed CBs and FSs and those appear to be in good shape with prospects coming along. Added 1 CB, dropped another and then dropped 2 safeties, as it seemed we had too many. Reviewed St's, added another kicker, that also has QB maxed out on bpos, so we are now covered well at QB and kicker. Thanks to several managers training players for multiple positions, we are covered well at KR and Gunner. The only position we are lacking in is for STCB. We have one currently that is both CB and STCB. Team USA has 2 spots still available and I'd like to add at least one more STCB, possibly 2 to guard against injury. I'd prefer to have a dual role player, but any suggestions are welcome here. I will finish up the roster on Sunday. Thanks everyone for your help

my scouting was being criticized fresh off a finals appearance i think i handled the situation rather fine
