A few pressure coming from Hooper's side.

Loosing to the UK isn't a bad thing. They have a awesome team.

A lot of pressure after coaching the NZ team lol. I rate Australia as one of the top 5 teams in the world. Im sure you will go deep in the tournament.

Hooper gave up 3 pressures to the DE and another to the OLB and a sack. 2 pressures from the other side. All in all, not too bad. He had a poor roll too - he is most often a 5* starter. I see no better option and he will get better this season too - Ag is @ 17 and will pop soon. If we get deep into this tournament then ag will be 19 and footwork 18 to 19 as well.

In any case, 6 press and 1 sack is fine imo. Probably the worst thing is that we only got 4 press and zero sacks on them. Also, their sack came from their 12yd line and 2 pressures on the 1st drive from inside their 20. Not sure that made a difference but sacks/pressures definitely happen more inside the 5-10yd line, not sure about inside the 15-20yd line.

Well, a win is a win, but I need to work out how to get this offence happening. D was great though we gave up a few too many 3rd downs I thought.

Anyway, good to get a win after 4 straight arse kickings!

Convicts, Croats
1st downs (inc TDs) - 17, 21
3rd downs (inc TDs) - 1/6, 6/13
D pressures - 8, 4

What a pitiful effort on 3rd down by the offence!

Convicts, Poms
1st downs (inc TDs) - 23, 22
3rd downs (inc TDs) - 3/9, 8/11
D pressures - 4, 6

From last week - got killed on 3rd down! Yet more 1st downs!

Convicts, Norway
1st downs (inc TDs) - 22, 25
3rd downs (inc TDs) - 1/6, 1/6
D pressures - 5, 7

Kai Carlile - 23/743, 32.3 avg, 8 TDs!

Lucky too - their offence was on fire. Our D was crap but we probably won due to that pic. Dying with the ball @ their 9yd line at the end of the 1st half could have cost us. The only things that stopped them in the 2nd half was a pic and the clock!

But a win is a win.

Time to put in the NT members of the currently #1 defence in the regional club scene. I'm kind of kidding, but is Moles really better than Burrows? I guess he's a bit faster for OLB, but thought he gave up on a couple of other things (I'm obviously working Burrows' stamina since I got him, and it's not like Moles has heaps better either).

Anyway, good performance. Norway have a beastly QB, but I'm glad we got this edition of their team rather than the one 3-4 cycles ago.

The main reason I have Moles in is due to INT - 15 vs 1.

But I see that Burrows now has decent stam and is plus 5 and 3 in Str and Ag respectively. I think Burrows could use a little more Vis too.

Anyway, next time we play vs 2 good TEs he might get a look in since he'll no doubt be better in that role.

5 pressures and 2 sacks on Burgoyne - 2 press and a sack inside their 20 and another pressure on our 20 fwiw
2 pressures on Hooper - both inside our own 10 fwiw.

so between the 20s we gave up 2 press and 1 sack.

Kristian Langø was an animal - started 4*, ended 5*!

Looks like Pratt played alright on debut and he's part of the future at RB.
