If I would like to add some seats or vip/exec boxes to a wing of my stadium that already has some seats, do I pay only for the additional seats?

that i a relief. I was afraid it was the same unlogical way as with the coaching staff. where you pay again for your 20p coach when you want to upgrade another coach.

You will not have use of the existing seats while you are building though...

Sign-up bonus has to be payed every upgrade for all coaches to prevent speculative staff hiring just for training update.
