And the winner for this round is Blacktown Behemoths. Opponent is a bot with 100K+ seating.

I'm actually enjoying a free trip though to the last 16 (assuming I remember to put my orders in) which is a place I haven't been since my first time in TD. I always end up running into Kamikaze early.

Sometimes though, it's not actually that great a thing running into bot teams with big stadiums particularly if you have a reasonably sized stadium yourself and are doing well in the league.

e.g. My match today against the old Tiger Bay Buccs where they technically have a bigger stadium, but because they're bot and not really on a winning streak, only a mere 60kish came out to play. Even if I hosted it with a slightly smaller stadium and got 60k, we'd have more due to lack of dilution in my stadium compared to theirs (from having that many more normal seats). Next week for example, when I play bot Tuff Gong, it'll be at my stadium which is smaller than Tiger Bay's, but I'm pretty sure I'd still get more money purely because I'd have more people attend. The worst one is when you both have the same sized stadium, but the system makes you play at the one whose doing worse in the league (and subsequently has the worse attendance ramp). It's why some of the more savvy operators around sometimes have some odd number like 80,001 or so on.

For new teams with a small stadium however, anything 60k or bigger is a big bonus though. AFLC on the other hand... you just hope to play away to those 125,000 stadiums.

Dont forget the almightly clash between the Beavers and the Bananas today. I suggest the Bananas take it slow to begin with. You dont wanna fire off after 2 minutes. Those Beavers wont be happy if it is all over in 2 minutes. They'll be looking for a fight with plenty of friction and some good strong wrestling between the two. Hopefully the games goes up and down for all the 60 minutes. With an almightly climax at the end.

It could be a close shave for the beavers. Word has it the bananas are coming out of their skins. Let's just hope we don't end up with a big furry banana!

Looks like a close one so far.

If the Bananas can keep hammering those tight ends relentlessly, it will only be a matter of time before they burst through that last layer of resistance, leaving the Beavers clutching at gaping holes while the Bananas erupt triumphantly in the end zone.

Though if the Beaver defense can shut out their advances and tack one on themselves then it will be the Bananas who will be left with a flaccid attack and things could go from ugly and hairy to painful and bleeding very quickly.

A 2 week old team is on the verge of upsetting Blood Army and making it through to the round of 16. The Gold Coast Stingrays up by 14 early in the 4th

Blood Army has bot defense. Just checked some players. All out of wack on defense.

Also punted once from the 95 yard line. Mustn't have set orders.
