Game time (for league games in North America) is 3:00 PM EST. However, GI works according to "server time," which you can see to the top right (just to the left of the logo). Server time is 6 hours ahead of EST (the game is based in Europe), and thus it currently tells you that it's 4:15 AM on Saturday.

In North America, games are at 21:00 server time every Saturday (it varies by region). That means about 17 hours to go. You can follow games live by simply going to the "Home" page and clicking "view match." Ditto for cup games, but they're on Tuesdays, and not every week.

The time at which friendlies are played depends on the region of the home team, but the same rules apply (games are mostly played on Mondays).

Hello and welcome to the game. Good job on finding the forum so quickly. That will help you as people around here are friendly and love to help out. Also, go to the rookies section and read the "read this before doing anything" thread. It helps people go from noob to genius very quickly. And if you have questions, ask in the forums. Have fun. Oh, and schedule a friendly game and take your youth player.

Go down to the bottom of this page, and click on the Help/FAQ link. Read it all the way through, trust me. Then go to the Rookie section of the forums, and read "Spilling the Beans" all the way through. Both of these are invaluable. DO NOT TOUCH THE TRANSFER MARKET until you read these two documents

You can schedule a friendly game for every Monday regardless of what else is going on. Friendly games need to be scheduled before Monday GI time starts, so you have just under 2 hours from now to schedule one for tomorrow. Any game scheduled after that will be for next Monday. Friendlies help bring in extra money and improve players positional ratings. There's never a reason NOT to play a friendly. It doesn't matter whether you win or lose, friendlies are like preseason games you play all year. The important part is the money and the positional training.
