Is he on crack or something? He usually makes good decisions, is amazing with Smith, and is pretty good when it come to turnovers, but tonight he's been awful. Then again, Collins threw two picks and Crumple fumbled and look what happened to them. Pennington threw 4 pics and that wasn't a very good game. Turnovers are killing teams and knocking them out of the playoffs.

5 pics and a fumble... This is just sad... Happy B-day Delhomme... You deserve it.

Be careful what you wish for, friend. You just might get it.

Well you sound like like a Eagles fan one bad game and you want his head on a platter....he had a bad day even if it was in the playoffs you need to cut the guy some slack

Coming from the guy thats the first to rip on John Parker Wilson

I think Jake is done in Carolina, He's gonna cost us 11Mil next year, if we clear him off we get almsot 6.5Mil back in the salary cap.

I personally think he has had it easy for too long. Nobody coming in to challenge him and make sure he stays sharp. One bad game can be forgiven, but don't forget he coughed up 4 INT's to the raiders too.

I watched the cards game and much as I hate to say it Jake lost it for us. 4 of his throws were very bad decisions, and how could he not feel the presence of the guy who caused the fumble?

It's not like Delhomme was the top tier of QB's anyhow. his numbers were gaudy because of Steve Smith but realistically he's a pedestrian QB at best. I hope you guys do go after a young QB as this is the kind of team that SHOULD be drafting that position. Solid all around but in need of that player to help them raise to the next level. As opposed to horrible teams that always draft QBs(or wrs in the lions case) when they should be drafting linemen. just my opinion though, proving my point will be the Lions this season, who with the No. 1 pick will take stafford or sanchez and ruin their careers like they did for harrington.

Unlike Miami, who went for Jake Long and totally flipped their season.

That's exactly what Detroit needs to do. Take an O-lineman(the one from Alabama sounds good to me) number 1, then a defensive player(preferably a pass rusher) with their 2nd first round pick. Build the O line and the defense, put Kitna back out there for a couple more years, then get a young QB when you know he won't get killed.

As for the Panthers, they've needed to get Delhomme's successor for years. Why they haven't, I don't know. Maybe they can luck into someone like Josh Freeman from Kansas State late in the 1st round this year, but if not then they're in trouble. There's just not much in the way of franchise QB's in the draft this year.
