I just bought a 20 intel 16 cons 18 team player off of transfers and I think he has the great starting stats to be a great QB one day but I'm not sure where to start training him. He has:
Passing of 5
Stamina of 1
Vision of 1
Positioning of 1
I know vision and positioning shouldn't be the first things I train but should it be stamina first to around 12-15 (I have fitness coaches and fitness center fully upgraded) and then passing to 10ish then do positioning and vision?

what is his height?

i train vision, passing and stamina equally. but then i am at a different point in the game than you. you are training staters, i'm training backups and have more time spare.

maybe for you, train passing and stamina, and hit vision towards the end of the season to minimize wages.

did i read correctly that you only have fitness coaches? if yes, then train stamina to equal passing.

hopefully by the time they are equal, you'll have training hall and off coaches. and then you'll have 10-12 weeks to think about his developement.

Yes I only have fitness coaches although they are at 20, and whatever bonuses a fully upgraded fitness center offers on top of that. What should I get stamina to before switching?

equal it to passing. as you dont have training hall or non fitness coaches. training anything other than fitness skills will result in lost training points (forever).

doesn't mean you shouldn't train non fitness skills, but limit them until you have extra points going to them.

I'd train speed and strength until they cap. If they both don't cap until 16+ then you have a great middle linebacker on your hands, which is even harder to produce than a QB. By the time that is done, he'll be 18 or 19, and you'll hopefully have a training hall and all the coaches necessary to make the most of his other skills.

For the long term, you'd really want be looking at 4.5* talent for a QB.

You have to keep track of the training pts. With full fitness center and 20 fitness coach, it takes a maximum of 3 (19 or 20 teamwork) or 4 (18 or less teamwork) weeks to increase a fitness skill by 1 pt if you focus train on the skill. If he hasn't increased in that time, he's capped in that skill. Keep in mind he can increase faster than this sometimes.
