Tim McMahon is here to stay boys -

Passing....1 :O

I welcome everyone's guidance to attempt to get him to the helm of the Aussie squad.

Start training passing. Not good paying wages now of $13K that he has a 11 skill in his stats.

No real rocket science with QBs. Passing and vision is all the non physical skills he needs. Add stamina in there to stop him failing late in the game.

If you have training hall and 20 off coaches, he'll take 27-29 weeks to get to 11 passing, since he currently has passing at 1. So he is a long term project. Probably get him to 11 pas/vis/sta by the end of next season. Then every season you have him raise pas/vis/sta by 2.

20yo = vis 11, pas 1 up to 7, sta 8
21yo = vis 11, pas 7 up to 11, sta 8 up to 11
22yo = 11 up to 13
23yo = 13 up to 15
24yo = 15 up to 17
25yo = 17 up to 19

Potentially how you wanna look at training him through the seasons.

You need to start playing him in friendlies and against bot league games. Get that bpos up asap. Not sure what his qb pos rating is now, but you can normally gain 1.0-1.5* bpos a season depending on how many games you get him in. So 3-4 seasons to get to 5.0* bpos. Run 100% of the time, since his 1 passing skill means he couldn't hit the side of a barn. lol

Your current QB1 being 28 has 3-4 seasons left in him, maybe 5. So getting onto this guys training now is key to having him ready to replace in time. If you dont have coaches and facalities, then find the cash asap and get his training going.

Good luck. He is a rough diamond, but will be something special in 3-4 seasons. And something great in 5-6.

Yeah sounds like the plan I had penciled out. Hes got 1.5 stars in QB BPOS at the moment. Ive raised that from 0.5 over prob 1/2 a season of friendlies. I will play him in the bot match up league games also.

Good stuff, will keep you posted.

edit- and oh yeah I have max facilities and coaches so

Great to hear. I must remember to run him over in my car when he crosses the road. Can't have him beating up my D.

Grease Monkeys have a pretty good Aussie QB prospect half trained for sale. 3.5 talent, 20 int, 19 con, 7 vis/pass, 20yo. Someone please buy him and keep him local.

He when to a 2 day old team. Hopefully that teams doesn't drop off the face of the G-I planet. But he'll be a wasted talent with that new team not have coaches and facilities. At 20yo and behind already in developement. The new team with basic training for the next 2-3 seasons. He'll be even more behind in his developement by age 23. Might as well scratch him from the list now.Last edited on 2013-11-22 at 10:56

The wildcats are packing future Australian national team QBs.

QB#1 26yo 5.0* talent 6'5" 19 int 17 con - skills 16ish
QB#2 22yo 4.5* talent 6'3" 20 int 20 con - skills 10ish
QB#3 17yo 3.5* talent 6'6" 20 int 18 con - skills 6ish
QB#4 18yo 4.5* talent 6'10" 20 int 20 con - skills just suck! (todays youth pull)

Ones has gotta go...

He's got a weird build.

If the actually do introduce weight/bmi etc etc into the engine, he'll be struggling with his weight. If not, awesome.

He is like a short version of Ivan Wall.

Finally got another worth adding to the list:-

Gordon Valenti
19yo OL
12 spd uncapped
19 str uncapped (clearly 20 is all he'll go to)
will be 4.5* bpos, currently 3.5*.

He is a carbon copy of Rhys Drummond, tall, heavy, talented and inconsistent. But slightly stronger, better looking (so he claims) and 9 years younger.
