here is my scouting report

Kevin Seaby (position K) good kicker ID 1160565 - saw him on the transfer market last week, came up in convo last week.

Shaun Ward (position LB) Probably not ready for a NT call up yet but hopefully will develop well. ID 523127 - low talent i think, hence the low bpos.

Jacob Groom (position OL) good Offensive Linemen ID 458096 - think he came up last week in convos also?

Andy Tambling (position CB) I don't like him very much consistency to low Positioning and vision need to be worked on. Probably won't ever be a NT player but just letting you know what is out there ID 938826 - 1 skill wonder. he has been around long enough to have those physical skills higher. and it'll take 2 seasons just to sort out his spd/str to acceptable levels, and then more time for stamina, agility and tacticals. think this is a bust. he take 4 seasons to be NT spec. anyone wanna put in the effort?

Roger Grant (position LB) Speed at 16 and strength at 14 looks like he could of been a good player if found and trained at young age but his skills like vision and positioning etc are all like 5-6 with agility at 4. If some one trains him up quick he might get a look but he is 29 so doubt it ID 1264691 - too old, skills wont train high enough.

Ronald MacFarlane (position DL) I like this player 15 speed and 17 strength and all his other skills look solid consistency is a bit low but ID 857715 - been in before, capped physicals and replaced when better.

Heath Wheatley (position DL) Physicals are low at 14 he isn't ready for NT yet and may never be at 27 especially if those physicals are capped ID 1264696 - he'll never have time to get his skills high enough before he is 31.

Matthew Montagna (position G) Very high physicals looks NT ready to me speed 18 and strength 19 ID 820908 - been and gone from the team. gunner is one of those positions that you only really need a few, and we have heaps, so they'll most likely rotate through the cycles.

Will Johnson (position G) at just 19 he looks like he still needs developing physical are at 15 hopefully not capped his positioning and vision need work as well ID 1437024 intersting, could always ask the coach for talent and caps.

Joe Blayney (position OL) As one of my own players he defiantly isn't ready yet (he is only 18) but could be in the future a 3.5 talent line men with 16 strength and 15 speed those aren't capped either if I can get his strength to about 17-18 I think he will be good enough. good consistency and intelligence as well ID 1520049 - 19 or 20 strength only for national team, report back when he hits 19.

Those older mid or late 20s players with high bpos and funky physicals are all old Skinks players. They were purchased by the current selling team to bolster up their roster when entering top division. They still relegated and now it seems they are being sold off after relegation.

My next report

Andy Ugle (position SF) with 20 speed he is a quick safety with some good skills but his BMI does affect his speed in v2 but who knows if that will ever actually come ID 403405

Ethan Porplyzia (position TE) 18 speed TE at the age of 22 he stills has some improving to do but still probably would be a good player even if you put him in now at this age (hopefully his speed isn't capped) ID 1338683

Joe O'Brien (position LB) Great skills but speed is only 16 and strength 17 (bmi problem on strength) still looks a good player he is on a wage of 84k a week so he definatly has some upside but at 27 years old I don't like the chances of his physicals not being capped low ID 434143

One is already on the national team. One has inadequate BPOS. And one is a weak 5'9" TE.

BPOS refers to their stars under "rating". This is how proficient they are at playing their "Best Position" (aka BPOS). A higher rating there means they've played that position quite a number of games. Think of it as experience playing in a certain position. It contributes to overall match day performance, but obviously a 5* LB with only kicking skills will still not be very good (so you still need the skills to go with the 'experience'. This is why we set a minimum BPOS for 4.5* for the NT. This is not to be confused with the actual experience rating (which is a chance to be gained at every game no matter which position played), but I think that's the best way to describe it.

Occasionally, some players will have similar rating in more than one position. If this is the case, you will see a bunch of details at the bottom of a player profile under "Comments from the Coach team" giving you an indication of what those other positions are. If it says he can "also play adequately as InsertPositionHere" then you know his second position is very close or the same rating as his best position. If he's close, but a little further away off, it'll say something along the lines of "if really needed, he can also step in as InsertPositionHere".

ah I see thanks Daudy also want to say thanks for brining the NT so far in the World cup and getting Australia up to 18th spot

edit:So it can be increased but should only be done on young players right?

Beau Firrito is now on a bot team. Scratch him from the watch list.

Yesterdays youth pull will be easily a consideration for the Aussie team at QB.

Talent 4.0*
Height (ft)6'6"
Passing 5.59
Vision 5.24
Intelligence 20.00
Agility 5.58
Stamina 5.46
Consistency 18.00

By the time he is 24, he'll have 19 in passing, vision and stamina. Talent is the only thing maybe keeping him from an easy ride through the game.

Personally, I wouldn't consider a QB with less than 4.5* Tal - BPOS limited to 4.5* and virtually unable to reach 20 Pass/Vis. If he doesn't have good spd or STR or combo of the 2 I'd cut him.

He'll make 20 passing/vision fine. But you are right about the talent. Which is why I mentioned it originally in my post.

By the time he is even near ready. There may not be any 4.5*talent in the team. We are currently blessed with good QBs, but might not always be the case in the future. Keeping all options open for now.
