Yeah, he can make 20 vision/passing. Will just take a little longer, but I guess once you're at a good level across the board, you only have time to burn so you may as well try. The glory of softcaps. Luckily he's 4* instead of 3.5* in this aspect.

The other thing of course is, whether clubs will want to take players up to 20 in skills. QB isn't so bad, because it's easier to justify paying more for them, but other positions certainly suffer for this. Like, I'm not sure how we'll ever replace our superstar kickers/punters cause there are no Melbourne 49ers still around to pay exorbitant salaries for them. Luckily it's not a hugely important position, but one area we've been doing well in is making opponents start their offence quite deep. Every bit counts!

True. I'll never pay $100K for a kicker. I like paying $22-35K. 13-15 skills.

I'll be keeping this one unless something else comes better comes along. So he'll be 18-20 skill wise if I have him long term. What I'm currently packing.

QB#1 29 yo 3.5*talent 6'2" 10 int 16 con - skills 19ish
QB#2 25 yo 5.0*talent 6'5" 19 int 17 con - skills 15ish
QB#3 21 yo 4.5*talent 6'3" 20 int 20 con - skills 9ish
QB#4 16 yo 3.5*talent 6'6" 20 int 18 con - skills 5ish (Yesterdays youth pull)

All aussie home grown talent. I'm set for the next 15 seasons at QB. lol

Picked up Ryan Hooper, a 23yo OL today. Might be a future prospect

STR = 18 (no doubt capped)
POS/VIS/FOOT/BLOCK = 11
STAM/AG = 10
Spd = 14
CON = 14
INT = 6

Any chance he'd be good enough in 2 or 3 seasons?

uncapped str, then yes. capped str, then no. as there are plenty 19/20 str linemen out there. although the 5.0*bpos might sway things in his favour.

5* BPOS might sneak him over. Depends who comes through from the youth ranks in the future. We've got a few older incumbents currently (29-30). Also there's Siegert who is on the bot Wolverines. He's very similar in 14/18 physicals, 5* BPOS, but has higher skills and is more consistent (20). Purely a backup though at this point.

I don't know how much people value intel on the Centre, but both 20 intel guys are our oldest. Also amongst the most consistent of our OLs and decent overall (though not OT material) so they weren't just chosen for that. Maybe that's something we can look for. Any 3.5*-4* QB types you don't need, who cap high in Strength haha.

On that note, our third string QB Pierce Boyle would have made a superb MLB haha.

He is a 5* BPOS with 3* EXP

My 2nd te is coming along nicely.
Jason Wall 21 yrs 6ft 2"
3.5 talent
4.5 bpos
8.08 catching
6.80 blocking
19.14 speed (capped)
18.59 strength (capped)
20 teamwork
17 consistency

Concentrating soley on blocking at the moment to keep the costs down but next season going to bump up his scatching. Could be a star of the future.
