Just wondering how important is a players experience and how fast does it rise in stars. Is it like 10 games per half a star? Thanks

Oh boy...let the debate begin. Quick version: it is .5 stars per 10 games played, it doesn't matter whether it's a friendly/cup/league game. 10 games at the same position will result in a .5 star increase. The only exception being a new youth player as nobody knows how many points at a position he is given other than his BPOS

that is totally incorrect.
all players start with 0.5* experience. it is gained at different levels depending on the games played. this is in the FAQ if you require proof.
position does not matter for experience as it is about numbers of games played.
all experience does is increase a players ability to reach 5.0* team chemistry quicker. this is also in the FAQ if you require proof.
a 0.5* experience player will take about 18 games to reach 5.0* team consistency.
a 5.0* experience player will take about 9 games to reach 5.0* team consistency.
