If one CB plays both CB on defense and STCB in the same game does he earn more experience and gain BPOS stars quicker?

No.
Basically, it gives you two extra slots to train corners.

When your team is more developed STCB is also a good place to work new offensive lineman into your team for chemistry before getting rid of his predissor.

Only for team chemistry, and OL will usually have better blocking which is useful for STCB

Yeah just though I'd ask. With 5 slots available in a friendly lineup, just didn't think there was a need for more slots for OLs. I normally just put rookie CBs and SFs in at STCB for increased TC and BPOS.

That's what I normally do too, but it is useful to help break in a new OL in the higher divisions for chemistry. Most of the newer players I have bought already have there BPOS maxed out. I will not put any new offensive or defensive guys in the starting lineup without a high team chemistry from friendlies or playing special teams in real games.
