Bad luck mate. Terrible start, then you clawed your way back into the game by halftime. Kamikaze too strong in the end. This was a highlight for me in your game:-

1st-10-SWI75 Sack Sören Koskinen sacked by Jed Silvester for a loss of 3 yards
2nd-13-SWI72 Sack Sören Koskinen sacked by Aidan Harb for a loss of 3 yards
3rd-16-SWI69 Pass Sören Koskinen pass to Mac Coombs for 18 yards for a first down!
1st-10-SWI87 Pass Sören Koskinen pass to Philipp Raabe for 13 yards for a TOUCHDOWN!

Two sacks allow in a row and still managed to put away a touchdown.

Bucs vs Iron Backs
I was dissappointed with my defense allowing big plays and touchdowns in the first 3 quarters, but Iron Backs are known for big offensive plays anyway. But the last quarter my defensive only allowed 31 yards and no touchdowns. While my offense gained 213 yards and scored 3 times.

Just thought I'd add this to the lol files:-

Last week my HB had 3 carries for 32 yards gained without a blocker and up against a 4 DL defense.

This week my HB had 4 carries for 11 yards lost with a blocker against a 3 DL defense.

TGIB solid and in command all game. Trons did make it interesting in the final quarter with some scoring drives.

(7) Damage Inc. 0-42 (6) Tiger Bay Buccaneers
Thought this would've been closer. Damage got 11 first downs but never got a score. Failed to get any luck their way.

(1) Sunshine Coast Buccaneers 35-14 (3) Swift Kick in the Grass
Thought this would've been closer. SKITG moved the ball upfield on nearly every drive, some drives seem to stop near the redzone.

Quick question to the wise.

I have no recollection of ever seeing a D getting smoked i.e. there are always missed tackles on a TD. Is this correct?

And if so, is there any point training defenders in anything other than tackling/strength?

Yes there is TDs that dont have missed tackles. If a TD play is longer then 10-15 yards, you'll see missed tackles. If it is a shorter play, then most likely not see missed tackles. But I have seen a 2 yard pass TD with missed tackles.

If a regular rush play goes more than 0-5 yards or a pass play goes more than 10-15 yards, then there was most likely one missed tackle but the game live viewer doesn't show it/record it.

On rush plays you need 3 missed tackles and on pass plays you need 2 missed tackles for it to become a long TD play.
