My 4* talent RB with 4.5 Bpos has capped at 17 speed & 16 strength........

I know the run is not used much, but is this sufficient for a RB ?
Thanks

When the new engine gets here in season 57, the best strenght+speed combo will be 35 anyway. So, a 4.5-star BPOS player with 16+17=33 will be pretty good, especially at a less critical position like RB. Of course, your RB will be ling since retired, but his great grandchildren can play RB for you.

Don't worry too much about his carrying, concentrate on his blocking and play him at FB

Correct. Blocking, Vision and agility... and perhaps footwork too...

Keep his carrying skill even with those listed above, he will pop off the occasional 15-20 yard run too, even at 90% passing. Fullback is the position he will currently excel in and the physicals you have will be fine

I thought I read somewhere that a now hidden species Admin said RB doesnot need tactical training unless he plays other positions.
Then again its not like tactical training will hurt.
Also I would not neglect carrying -A 10+yard run on the ocassional down when your Qb audibles does not hurt. I d recommend initially having carrying at least around 7 and then letting carrying catch up with other skills you like at least every 3 skillpoints.
