If one plays in different positions during a week, does he get points to his BPOS for both of these positions or not? Thanks in advance.

And if yes, then does it mean that if one plays 3 matches a week at the same position, he gains the points 3 times?

Yes, players gain BPOS pr match, not pr training

The way bpos work is not 100% defined, but basically they appear to work similar to experience and team chemistry. Each match you play one of your players at a certain position, they have a "chance" to gain some kind of points toward another 1/2 star. I compare it to gaining a point on a certain skill. We all know that it takes 100 points (behind the scenes) to gain 1 point in a skill. There is only a small randomness here, as each player gains 8-12 pts per week, plus teamwork/2, plus coaches, plus facilities. So the only randomness here is the 8-12 pts, could be 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12. Easy to follow. Experience, I think is about a 25% chance to gain 1/2 star or something like that, it's listed in FAQ if you want to have a look. So with bpos, a lot of people here think you go up 1/2 star bpos with every 8-10 games. That would be about a 10% chance to gain 1/2 star. I have seen players take more than 10 games and less than 8 games, but on average, they are probably pretty close. Whether there are "behind the scenes" points you are accumulating to go up 1/2 star or whether it's just a random percentage chance, nobody really knows.

This works for me.

Gaining a 0.5* POS is about 10 friendly games.
A league and cup game is worth 1.5 friendly games.
A AFLC/international game is worth 2.5 friendly games. (Doubt this option will ever happen much).

So if you played a player at one position for both league and friendly games, you gain about a 0.5* of POS every 4 weeks.

You're welcome.

My personal opinion, which I didn't share, is that there are 5 pts behind the scenes and you have anywhere from a 25% to 50% chance of getting one point, depending on friendly, league or cup match. Once you get enough rolls following game play to accumulate 5 pts, you gain 1/2 pt in bpos. This would explain the average of about 8 to 10 games to go up 1/2 star in bpos. If it were just a 10 to 25% chance after each game, players would occasionally jump up 1/2 star a lot more often. With the multiple points required, the average time to go up 1/2 star would even out across the board a lot more.......as it does
