If I remember right, a .5* team chemistry means the player plays with skills 30% less effective. If I'm right and my math is right, that means player 2's catching would be equal to about an 8. Since he's already at 1* it could be a possible 9.

Unless I'm completely off on the percentage, I would go with player 2.



edit to add:

Just noticed the BPOS rating difference. I'd definitely go with player 2 considering that. BPOS rating seems to have more effect than team chemistry IMO.
