I'm reasonably sure that Roster Max is 70.

so .. if you're at Roster max, can you still do the weekly youth pull ... or are you prevented from doing this if you're at roster max ?

Imagine if I'd kept all my youth pulls. A roster of 250 mediocre players.

So you can go over 70 players?

yup.
18 players, buy and have youth pulls. (no one retires).
19-69 players, buy, sell and have youth pulls.
70+ players, sell, you can have youth pull.

I don't pay enough attention to other teams to know any off hand, but I have had up to 72-75 players on my roster before.

it's pretty rare for teams to have that many players. even with 2 backups for each position, you only need 54 players. so going to 70 would be financially a poor idea.

I have between 60 and 70 players on roster at any given time. At the moment 44 are under 21. Only 23 have capped both speed and strength and these are starters. Financially, the 40 projects and backups I have (having only 24 starters) account for $168.300 a week in salary.

So (for me) having a big roster is not the reason for a financial decline - more the fact that 24 starters are sucking $650.000 out of my money tank every week.

My experience is that you can have a big roster, just remember that not all can become starters and you need to sell them if they can't make it to the A-Team.
