Im in the second round of the cup and face a bot team so probably an easy win. I was just wondering if there is any way I can figure out who i might face next? Like is there a tournament tree system or is it random??

As far as anybody can tell, it's completely random.

How do these cup games work from a standpoint of: Is this a single elimination tournament? How many rounds are there for those teams that keep advancing?

Single elimination, you lose, you are out for this season. Rounds keep going until there is only 1 champion, however many rounds is needed. The first round has several teams getting byes so that the rest of the rounds will equal out.

It works very much like the FA Cup in English Football (soccer). Straight knockout, each team draws a team at random, regardless of what league you're in or what your stadium capacity is. So you could have an away game at a team with a 1000 seater stadium, has happened to me.

I think the Northern and Atlantic Europe regional cup has ten rounds, can't remember.

Errr... No !

The draw is random, but the Team with the biggest stadium will be the Home Team.

You can play away in a stadium with 1000 seats, when you are building on every stand of your stadium. In that case, you have 0 seats.

I swear I once was away to a team with a smaller stadium!

Anyway, fair enough, I stand corrected. And there is a nice way of pointing that out, rather than the way you did.

Could be that the opponent had a bigger stadium at the moment of the venue decision and then build some stands and therefore have a smaller stadium. Does that make any sense?
