also, not sure about , training on max or normal thing, started out training on normal for a long time, agility mainly on all players, never did notice if any went up, didn't seem like it, after a couple months, did the intense a few times, now i have low energy, ,,,, buying newer players with 100 energy, will i have to train them all lightest now to get them evened up?, is it just best to stay on normal all the time?, or 1 intense then , normal till they may all catch back up?

1) Train physicals until they cap. Use a spreadsheet / notes or supporter account to monitor progress. If there is no progress for 3-4 weeks (on focused training) without supporter account, then the player most likely is capped and then train the other physical.

2) It will take some time for any skill to 'pop' - especially when training attacking since training points are spread out.

3) Train normal. Never, ever let your energy drop under 95 (or 100 for that sake) since you will never win with low energy and there is no long term benefit in training high or maximum. You will need too much time on low to regain energy.

thanks, being new and having bad players, no money, couldn't find any good friendlies, just 1, plus didn't realize that you had to redo the sponsors each week. ,,,,, with hardly a stadium built, and most of time in the red, is it better to just keep a min roster, play players on both sides of the ball, , so the wages won't be so high, and after getting the vip seats n such built, then do a fitness center , start worrying about taking to the big caps?

There's no such thing as a bad friendly. Some friendly opponents are better than others, but all have some benefit. Check ads if you have trouble finding an opponent or post an ad yourself.
If you use players at multiple positions in the same game, they will only increase BPOS in one position. So, even if they player is not optimal long term, I think it's best to use different players at all offensive and defensive positions. As their BPOS increases, they will get better. The only special team position I feel provides any real benefit is K. I think it's safe to double up at the other special teams positions, but others may feel differently. So you can keep your roster down to 23 players. Maybe keep an extra player or two to cover for injuries.
Always train fitness in the early stages of team building, whether you have coaches, fitness center, etc. Training will be slow without these, almost non-existent, but you don't have to worry about salary increases. You can also find speed/strength caps to help determine the best position to play players before developing them too far. And you are better off with normal training all the time.

thanks, sorry if I am getting this thread off topic, I posted a few times in the friendly and didn't get any, I got a alert notice the other day (friendly invite), I seen he had fairly big stadium, only way I could find to accept it was click challenge on his page, but it ended up being at my home stadium, did I do something wrong?, or miss a option to change it to his stadium?

edit, not sure if ok ask more questions on here or need to start other threads with a title?

i read a few on that bpos thing or what ever it is, i been having hard time finding lb's so i just went with safety's and a dlineman to play at lb, i know they need to be high stared to develop better later on at a out of position, bpos thingie, but it is possible to make a player long term like that?

also it seems a qb is impossiable to get that is just decent, bid mainly all my cash on just a decent one, and some team that already has 7 qb's bids again, lol, is it possible to maybe make a high stared safety a qb for the long run?Last edited on 2013-01-25 at 14:03

You need to either accept his challenge or in your challenge specify which stadium you want to play the game at.

Yes, players can change positions by playing them at a new position long enough. Don't worry about what position the players are listed at, just find the best spot for them and play them there all the time. They will switch and improve BPOS in that position eventually. Some may take longer than others. Personally, I don't think it matters what position the player has listed, what's more important is how many position rating stars the player has at the position you play him at. For example, if you have a player that has 4* rating at QB and SF, I think he will player equally well at either position regardless of which one is listed as his main position. Others feel differently though.
