I thought prize money was distributed on Friday now when the season roll-over happened. On this day, players get older, wages are re-calculated, etc.

The 2nd Wednesday is the first financial update with the new wages. New schedule comes out the day after I think.

ProjectRacing once posted this reply, it might be worth cutting/pasting it into your Notebook for future reference .... obviously as this refers to Season 10 you'll have to adjust the date accordingly :-

Sun15 - last game for season 10
Mon16 - friendly
Tue17 -
Wed18 - economy update
Thu19 -
Fri20 - training update, then wage and age updates, retirements, prize money 9-5 server time
Sat21 -
Sun22 - no league game
Mon23 - friendly
Tue24 -
Wed25 - economy update
Thu26 -
Fri27 - training update
Sat28 -
Sun29 - first game for season 11
Mon30 - friendly

subsitute Sun and Sat depending on which area you play in.

Thanks sh, that's very helpful.

It's clear the above version of what happens in the offseason is different from the one which appears in the offseason thread posted on 15.09.12.

I'm a little concerned about the fact it appears we currently have a sticky thread that contains false information - perhaps the above post could be used to amend the offseason sticky thread, so everyone knows where they stand, especially clueless noobs like yours truly.

I also did one recently with this offseasons dates in it. As i said, prevois 4 week in a offseason thread.

The post you're referring too was correct at the time it was posted. Admins made some changes over the last few seasons and that post just hasn't been updated since the poster is no longer active.

Any upgrade will take about 14 days.

From the FAQ:

12. What are the construction times for the the facilities that we can build?
Stadium upgrades and Youth academy take 15 days to build, the club shop is constructed in 7 days, training hall in 14 days and the fitness centre in 10 days.

go to construction section. hover mouse over stadium sides. pop up window will tell you when constrution ends.

or just add 15 days to when you started construction.
